  1. Is my husband’s use of internet pornography considered an affair? It feels like one to me. In the past (and I say “in the past” because we no longer have date nights or any dates at all – in fact, I don’t want to be intimate with him because of this), he would dismiss our date nights, and then I found out that when the computer “told” me there were too many temporary internet files, he had been spending time every day visiting sites. He has downloaded content to cds and has them stored in his closet. This has driven a huge wedge in our relationiship, and his defense of this “weakness” (as he calls it), makes me not want to be with him. He says that it’s just what every man does. I disagree – I believe everyONE has a degree of curiosity about it, but many people have the self-control to not do it, at least to the extent that he does. He denies that he has a problem. We have kids in the house, and I am not comfortable with this content being here, even though it’s hidden. When I asked him how he’d feel if the kids found it, his response was, “Well, they have to learn about it somehow.” Is this an affair?
